So, I'm all calmed down, no more rants, except about fiber. :D
I may or may not go to Fort McMurray, but I am most likely (like 99% chance) going to go to Vancouver. I've been checking out the 2010 Olympic Games' sites, and I have decided that I'm going to work my ass off to get the chance to work there. I'm really excited, and as I write up this entry I'm checking the job postings on both the Vancouver2010 site, and the Olympic Broadcasting Services site. I'm totally excited, if you couldn't already tell.
Knitting news! Um, yea. Nothing new really, Battleshawl is still in progress, but it's getting large and lovely, I can't wait to block it. Side A: Awesomeness is still in progress, but I'm remembering why I hate colorwork so much, my tension sucks and I'm getting a bit of puckering. In Spinning news I finished a Top Knot, I'm in love. I got 240 yards, the first time I did a Top Knot, I got 45 yards. hahahahaha. shows how much thinner I'm spinning. :D
Also, I just adopted a dragon egg! Please click on it to help me hatch it, it costs you nothing and you need not sign up or give an email or anything, just click on it. :)
Pictures to come as soon as the sun comes back out. I should have taken pictures when my handspun was out on the line with my laundry setting the twist, but alas, I was too excited to be out in the sun rather scantily clad. ;)
-happy knitting!

I am so glad that I'm not the only one who thinks Adama when they see that shawl. I may have to make it just for the name.
Sweet, V-dot! You are so coming to the island to visit.
