10. I have a problem

I will admit it, my stash is not small. I have lots of half balls though, and single skeins that I just do not know what to do with. You can only have so many neckwarmers, toques and mittens. I might live in Nova Scotia, but our winter is not long enough to require over 15 pairs of mittens, a dozen toques, and 30 scarves. Plus, I can only gift so much. Caston-itis doesn't help either. I am trying to knit from my stash, the last order I placed at The Loopy Ewe contained no yarn what so ever, and I haven't bought anything from any of my LYS's in quite a while. And yet, my stash is taking over.

There is a fair bit of Acrylic there that I'd like to get rid of, but I never know when I will want or need to make something for someone who isn't an extremely close friend. Friends don't give friends anything knitted with acrylic. There is a good amount of spinning fiber in that pile there too, and we all know that fiber is light and fluffy, hence looks like more than it actually is.

I think my main point is I have a problem, but I like it.

-Cheers and happy Stash Enhancements!

You should make some scarves to sell or something like that. That would be a fun project!

I think someone should start a thread somewhere where all post our stash-on-the-bed photos! Hey! What's that roll of tape doing there? Is there a strip of Velcro hiding there too? Now THAT would be a "problem"!!!!
Cheers! ~Chris.
